 1). GATEWAY OF INDIA 


The Gateway Of India is an monument built in the early 20th century in the city of Mumbai, India.The Structure is made of basalt,which is 26 metres (80 to 85 feet) high.The final design was sanctioned and started on 13 March,1914 and construction was completed in 1924. This architectural resemblance to a triumphial arch as well as Gujarati architecture of the time. After its construction the Gateway was used as a symbolic ceremonial entrance to India for important colonial personnel. The Gateway is also the monument from where the last British troops left India in 1948, following Indian independence. It is located on, opposite the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel and overlooks the Arabian Sea. Today, the monument is synonymous with the city of Mumbai,

2)Sanjay Gandhi National Park


The Sanjay Gandhi National Park or Borivali Park , It is one of the most beautiful wildlife sanctuaries in the world. All because it is spread across over 104 sq.It remains open for day visits from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily. There is a day-use fee of 15-20rs it may vary for foreigners and children under five are free.

Main attractions of the park are "lion and tiger safari. The lion safari is a 20-minute ride through a 29.65 acres fenced forest area in one of the park's green buses.
This park contains wilds such as, macaque monkeys, four-horned antelope, striped hyenas, porcupines, flying-foxes, crocodiles, pythons, cobras, vipers, barking deer, spotted deer and mouse deer can be spotted.There are 8 waterfall trails in Sanjay Gandhi National Park.

The best time to visit the national park to spot birds is between October to April. And, August to November is the best time to spot butterflies.

3). Shree Siddhivinayak Temple


The Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shri Ganesh. It is located in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was originally constructed by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil on 19 November 1801. 

It is one of the richest temples in India. The temple has a small mandap with the shrine for Siddhi Vinayak. The wooden doors are created with images of the Ashtavinayak(Lord Ganesh). The inner roof of the Holy place is plated with gold, and the central statue is of Ganesha. In the outer edge, there is a Hanuman temple as well. The exterior of the temple consists of a bound which is lit up with multiple colors in the evenings and keep changing in every few hours. The statue of Shri Ganesha is located exactly under the dome. The pillars are crafted out with the images of ashtvinayak(Lord Ganesh).

The temple opens at 5:30 am morning till 9 pm evening. Free Darshan  is available for all devotees.Devotees an get VIP Darshan ticket from temple counter whichs cost 200 Rs per person.The general Darshan takes 30-45 min on a normal day and about 2 hours on tuesdays. And best time to visit is Ganesh Festival.

4). Juhu

In 19 th century, Juhu was an island, Juhu Beach is located on the shores of the Arabian Sea. It stretches for six kilometres up to Versova.The short, rocky formations make up the Juhu Beach unlike the Marina Beach in Chennai that is primarily sandy. It is a tourist attraction throughout the year and is also a destination for shooting films. The beach generally gets more crowded on weekends and public holidays. The food court at its main entrance is known for its Mumbai style street food, notably bhelpuripani puri and sev puri.
During the Indian independence movemenet, Mahatma Gandhi visited Mumbai and took several walks along Juhu Beach. Juhu is among the most expensive and affluent areas of the city and home to many Bollywood celebrities.
